Print Handling and Display Instructions
|
| |
| Once
you've purchased one of my giclee prints, in order to enjoy the
archival quality*: |
-
Avoid touching the image as moisture and oils from fingers can
affect quality.
- Store it away from extreme temperatures, high humidity and bright
lights.
- When displaying indoors, I recommend placing in a glass picture
frame. In order to prevent fading and to preserve colors, avoid
displaying outdoors or in places exposed to direct sunlight. |
*Long-lasting
up to 75 years light-fastness.
Light-fastness test conditions (Indoor Display Condition)
- Light source: Fluorescent light
- Intensity: 70,000 lux
- Temperature: 24°C
- Humidity: 60%RH
- Glass mount: 2mm, soda lime
- Fade criteria: Pure YMC 30% Loss at OD=1
- Display-life Calculation: Total illuminance/(500 lux x 10 hours
x 365 days)
The data is calculated by Epson's accelerated test, the ink, paper
and printer manufacturer used in producing my giclee prints.

| Framing
Suggestions: |
-
When framing the 9.5" x 13" sizes:
- For 10" x 13" frames, consider having them matted
(mounted) with an optional half inch around the actual image,
so that the art print in the matte fits perfectly in the frame.
